Differences of Case Study with Other Research Methods
Case studies have differences with other research strategies such as historical or experimental methods. The difference can be seen in the table below:

Ethnography Research Methods
In book Ethnography Method, James P. Spradley suggests that ethnography is to describe a cultural occupation. The purpose of this activity is to understand a view of life from the perspective of indigenous peoples. Spradley's view is based on the opinions of Bronislaw Malinowski who sees that the goal of ethnography is to understand the native point of view, to do with life, to get his view about his world.

Case Studies as Research Strategy
Case studies, as formulated by Robert K. Yin, is a method that refers to research that has the elements of how and why the main research questions and examine contemporary issues (the present) and the least chance of researchers in control of events (cases) are examined.

Triangulation and Validity of Data in Research
The researchers used triangulation as a technique to check the validity of the data. Where is the sense of triangulation is a technique that utilizes the data validity checking something else in comparing the results of interviews with the object of research.
Triangulation can be done using different techniques of interview, observation and documents. Triangulation is not only used to check the truth of the data was also conducted to enrich the data. Other than that triangulation can also be useful for researchers investigating the validity of the interpretation of the data, because it is reflective triangulation.

Basic Concept of Qualitative Research
In one study we know the methodology of quantitative research and qualitative research methodologies. The difference between quantitative and qualitative research has actually been often mentioned by experts.
Among them are according to Guba and Lincoln (1982:62-82) states that quantitative research uses the term scientific paradigm (scientific paradigm), whereas qualitative research is called naturalistic inquiry or inquiry naturally (Moleong, 2000:15).

Characteristics of Qualitative Research

Qualitative Research conducts research on natural background or in the context of a whole (entity). According to Lincoln and Guba, this was done because the ontology of nature with the existence of the facts as a whole that can not be understood if separated from its context.
