Research Data Analysis

Data analysis in a research report is a creative activity. There is no detailed steps, so researchers must find his own way. Based on this understanding, then I understand that a researcher can specify the ways the data analysis as needed and research framework. And here I give examples that can be selected:

1. Data reduction and data display

Writing data obtained in the field, whether the results of interviews, observation and documentation of study results. This will provide a detailed description that will show different results.

2. Conclusion Taking and Verification

Making this conclusion after stage reduction and data display. This conclusion is adjusted on the theme of each type of data in accordance with questions and research purposes. This conclusion is temporary, used to find the possibility of a lack of data and use of data that must be verified to the subject of research in the field.

3. Process of analysis

Data analysis in qualitative research requires foresight and creative power is quite high considering the predominantly Qualitative data in the form of words in abundance. Therefore, the purpose or research problem became the main landing to conduct the analysis.

(1) categorization of data based on data collection techniques

In practice, researchers will first sort the data generated each data collection techniques: interviews, observation and documentation study. Each type has a high accuracy data collection and data produced good levels of primary and secondary data, this will make it easier to give a relation of any data.

(2) categorization of data based on research questions

These data will then be grouped on each research question and based on the purpose of each question. This is done to make the focus, as it allows the number of unnecessary data.

(3) Writing a research report

Writing research reports are not much different from writing a report or news, there is a predetermined angle, this angle is the focus of research itself. The only thing beyond that is secondary information that is used to enrich reports tailored to the needs.
